Conquering Montana With my Twinkie  Part II Speaking of weather the first day I arrived I of course was dressed with my scarf, headpiece, and boots for cold Montana weather..... Wrong it was 70 degrees when I got off the plain, I became immediately grumpy, I am almost always happy except when I am HOT!!! Erica of course thought this was hilarious, but she drove me to our condo, let me throw my stuff down, showed me the place and then took me across the street to our neighborhood brewery the "Bonsai Brewing Project." Now before even looking at the menu or ordering a cold beverage I saw a wall full of t-shirts hanging on the wall, I told the bartender "I'm hot, Can you put this on my bill, I'm going to put this on right now."  He of course said yes, and this was my only t-shirt souvenir that I got in Montana, with a funny story to go along with it. We sat here and caught up with each other while enjoying our first Montana Blonde Ale,  Pork Tacos &

MONTANA - October 2017 Part I My sister asked me months ago before taking my first travel position in the Northeast if I would meet her in Northern Montana to explore Glacier National Park, Continental Divide, Flathead Lake and more! Thank goodness I said "Yes," as know we have seen one of the most beautiful states in this country. This is the first trip in a very long time that Erica and I have been on alone I'm sure we both had hesitations but maybe it was Montana, maybe we have grown with age but it was a beautiful trip and we got along beautifully. And I think I can speak for both of us when I say there will be a Twin's trip every year we are able too create more memories, travel and enjoy the time on earth we have with each other and explore all the beauty our God has created. About two or three weeks before the trip I asked Erica what she had planned, and her response was I've been really busy why don't you work on a schedule for us while we are t

Sunset Mediation Somers Point, NJ Your my place of quiet retreat I wait for your word to renew me.  #psalms119 :114 #Meditation4MySoul #JerseyShoreSunrise When I first started nursing school it was always my dream to work for a couple years and then become a travel nurse and explore and see as much of this beautiful world as I possibly can. My dream is finally become reality and I am so excited to share with my family and friends this adventure. I have already felt a sense of freedom, peace, serenity that can only be explained by prayers said by many, and me going after my dreams.  The drive up was quite insane. Rosie and I left around 2:30am. It ended up being almost an 18hour drive with just me and my sweet girl. This little angel stayed awake  with me almost the entire drive. Now Rosie is not a lazy dog but she sleeps all night and because I work night's she normally cuddles with me during the day. She could barley  keep her eyes open when we finally arrived
Coming off a wonderful Labor Day weekend with my family over in St. Augustine Beach where we have spent every Memorial Day and Labor Day holiday over the past ten years I feel very blessed and lucky to have been given such wonderful parents and siblings. And God has blessed us with three loving, adorable, beautiful and funny niece and 2 nephews that keep us on our toes and smiling at a continuous non stop rate. I went over Friday after class and enjoyed an entire afternoon at the beach, and started a new book by my favorite author Mary K. Andrews - "Ladies Night." I finished yesterday and once again I wasn't disappointed I recommend any and all of her books she is a wonderful southern author who encompasses charm, romance, comedy and real life scenarios in all of her novels. After a year in nursing school this is the first non text book I have read in a while and I definitely picked the right one. On Sunday I awoke to my dad at 6am asking me to go fishing with him. I can

I find myself constanly in the kitchen - and could literally stay there all day - until the last dish is washed at the end of the day, it's a happy place for me. During the Holiday's especailly is a perfect time to start creating and trying new recipies- So I thought I would start journaling about my time in the kitchen as something to someday look back on, improve on and also possibly share with my friends and family. Yesterday was my dad's 59th birthday, he spent the day climbing dead pine trees and working hard as he normally does - what lucky girl's we are to have such a wondeful father as an example. I spent the day in the kitchen - started at noon anyway's. I had promised to bring dinner over to a very special family who are dealing with a very long cancer battle. My 11th grade English teacher - Glenda Kelley, she is a very special woman and I wish I could do more to make things better - but I selfishly have to settle for weekly visit and bringing home cooked
